Communisis plc is a UK leading provider of personalised customer communication services that specialises in helping clients communicate with their customers more effectively and more profitably in fast-changing markets.

The company has a reputation for production excellence and innovation and is trusted by many leading, consumer-facing brands to design, produce and deploy multi-channel personalised customer communications accurately, securely, reliably and at scale.  

The Legal and Company Secretarial function is seeking to hire an Assistant Company Secretary on a fixed term contract of 12 months to cover a period of parental leave, with an anticipated potential start date in January/February 2014.

In this role, you will have a key supporting role in ensuring the company complies with it’s legal and regulatory obligations under the Companies Act, UK Corporate Governance Code, the Listing Rules and other regulations, including the co-ordination and administration of the various events in the corporate calendar.

In order to be considered for the role you must be ICSA qualified, with up to date experience in a listed PLC environment and a sound understanding of corporate governance procedures and associated regulatory developments. You must have solid experience of the preparation and co-ordination of corporate annual and interim reports, together with taking personal responsibility for selected contributions thereto.  Experience in using Blueprint (including electronic filing) is also essential.

To succeed in this temporary assignment, you must be available in January and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, together with clarity of thought, in order to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment.
