Commercial Barrister - British Virgin Islands

A leading international firm in the British Virgin Islands is seeking an experienced Commercial Barrister to join its highly regarded dispute resolution team.

The successful applicant will handle major commercial litigation matters, frequently involving cross-border disputes, insolvency, asset tracing, and complex financial litigation before the Commercial Division of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. With responsibility for advocacy against Leading Counsel, the role requires an individual capable of working independently, managing a busy caseload, and maintaining strong client relationships that drive future business.

Hiring criteria includes:

• England & Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland qualification (eligible for BVI admission).
• Approx. 10 years' call with proven experience from a top Commercial or Commercial/Chancery set.
• Ability to handle high-value, complex disputes with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commercial mindset.
