Professional Indemnity (Construction) - 2+PQE

Our client's market-leading professional disputes practice is at the forefront of defending complex and high-profile professional negligence claims.

Their specialist construction industry defence team is recognised as a leader in the field, handling contentious construction and construction-related professional indemnity matters. Acting for some of the world's largest engineers, contractors, and their insurers, they defend high-value claims against architects, engineers, surveyors, and contractors.

With continued client demand for their top-tier expertise, the firm is looking to expand its team. The ideal candidate will be an insurance disputes lawyer with experience defending claims against construction professionals. Strong construction litigation associates with a solid grasp of technical construction matters who are keen to focus on insurance aspects will also be considered.

To be considered, you will have:

• Excellent academics and a strong aptitude for complex commercial insurance disputes.
• Training from a highly regarded international, City, or leading regional firm in complex insurance litigation.
• At least 2 years' PQE in defending professional negligence claims against construction professionals, or strong contentious construction experience with an interest in the insurance side.
