EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR (TRIBUNAL ADVOCACY), 3+ YEARS PQE, LIVERPOOL, COMPETITIVE SALARY AND BENEFITS INCLUDING FLEXIBLE AND HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS. JOB REF: 8681
This well-established and market leading law firm is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its reputable employment team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to provide expert legal advocacy and advice to a diverse client base, including prominent UK employers.
You will take on a role representing clients in Employment Tribunal hearings, covering case management preliminary hearings to complex multi-day full-merits hearings, both in-person and remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting employment tribunal hearings, including multi-day cases on discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, and wages claims.
• Providing legal advice on employment matters such as grievances, disciplinary procedures, equal pay, and detriment claims.
• Drafting and preparing legal documents, tribunal responses, witness statements, and reports.
• Supporting and mentoring team members as required.
• Engaging in business development activities, training, and networking.
• Producing client reports and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Delivering a high standard of legal service in alignment with firm values and procedures.
Suitable candidates will have at least 3 years’ PQE in Employment law and a proven track record in employment tribunal advocacy, including multi-day hearings. You will have strong communication, teamwork, and client management skills.
