Known for delivering expert legal advice to business owners, FTSE 350 companies, public and private sector organisations, charities, and high-net-worth individuals, the firm prides itself on providing a full range of services.
The firm's values are a reflection of its identity and the unique brand it has cultivated over time:
Progress - The firm takes initiative, consistently working towards achieving key objectives for its clients, its people, and the business itself. It embraces continuous development and growth, viewing change as an opportunity to innovate and improve.
Focus - With clarity and a considered approach, the firm delivers high standards, prioritises what's important, and ensures thoughtful decision-making in every aspect of its work.

The role is based in St Albans, offering the chance to work closely with experienced Partners on a variety of commercial property matters. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, financing and refinancing, landlord and tenant issues, development work, and leasehold management. Experience in leasehold enfranchisement, development, and financing would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Sound technical drafting of sale contracts, transfers, overage and options, licences, notices and agreements for leases, and associated complex completion statements and relevant calculations.
- Develop efficient systems to manage a busy caseload, ensuring key deadlines are met while keeping the supervisor fully appraised on matters.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic client files and work in a 'paper-light' environment.
- Maintain accurate and full live matter-related time records.
- Develop and protect client relationships while increasing professional credibility and encouraging new business.
In return, the firm offers a supportive and engaging environment, where professional development is encouraged, and long-term career growth is a priority. The firm's excellent reputation is built on its people, and its high staff retention rate demonstrates its strong internal culture and commitment to employee success.
