Hourly Rate: £40 to £50 per hour
Duration: At least 8 weeks

A well-known law firm based in Chesterfield, committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Criminal Solicitor to join the team for a minimum of 8 weeks.

Job Description:
As a Locum Criminal Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a variety of criminal cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in court. The role does not require out-of-hours work, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. While higher rights of audience are an advantage, they are not essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and progress a caseload of criminal matters.
* Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
* Prepare and present cases in court.
* Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

* Qualified Solicitor with experience in criminal law.
* Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Higher rights of audience (advantageous but not essential).
