Paralegal

This business operate internationally with offices in the UK, US and Middle East. Your role will be to support the legal team in London but can draw upon the established paralegal network across the wider business.

Paralegals are an integral part of not just the legal team, but the wider business, and provide a source of knowledge and skills to fully support their colleagues.

It would be advantageous to be interested in and knowledgeable about asset management, finance, markets, etc. It would also be helpful to be interested in and knowledgeable about how an asset management firm works.

Our client is looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:

• relevant experience of working in financial services, or within a law firm supporting clients within the financial services markets
• experience of supporting lawyers from a corporate or funds department
• commercially aware with the ability to assess risk
• organised and strong attention to detail
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• ability to evaluate and summarise efficiently
• ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high pressure environment
