This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Property Lawyer to join a thriving team in Sheffield, handling a diverse range of residential transactions while contributing to the firm's ongoing success.
The Role:
Manage and Drive Property Transactions
As a Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for your own caseload of residential sale and purchase matters. You'll ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and meeting key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Caseload Management: Handle a varied portfolio of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales and purchases, ensuring smooth progression from instruction to completion.
* Client Communication: Provide exceptional service through telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with solicitors, estate agents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication throughout the transaction process.
* Performance Targets: Meet individual KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently and in line with business objectives.
* Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including AML legislation, CQS standards, and SRA compliance obligations.
* Technology Utilisation: Use the in-house bespoke case management system to manage files effectively and maintain accurate records.
* Training & Development: Participate in dedicated training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings.
* Leadership: Act as a role model for best practices in file management, communication, and client care.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a conveyancing fee earner role (all levels considered, including more senior candidates).
* Client Service Skills: Strong communication and client care abilities.
* Technical Proficiency: Experience using MS Office, case management systems, the Land Registry Portal, and online SDLT submissions.
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy in file management and compliance.
* Organisational Ability: Ability to manage multiple transactions effectively while working to deadlines.
* Process-Driven Mindset: A proactive and structured approach to conveyancing, with a focus on risk management and efficiency.
