About The Role:
This is a broad commercial Legal Counsel role, sat within a respected in-house legal team central to all things good within the business. Working closely with internal stakeholders including sales, procurement and HR, you will work on the likes of MSAs, reseller and framework agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and commercial objectives. You will work closely with the Group GC to help mature the internal legal infrastructure, refining playbooks and processes to allow for long-term efficiency. You'll advise on key legal compliance matters, including data privacy, modern slavery and anti-bribery matters, while supporting tenders for contracts across private and public sector clients. This is a hybrid working role requiring three days in the City of London offices.
About You:
This role will suit a qualified commercial lawyer with experience of servicing clients in the technology or telecommunications sector, either in private practice or in-house. E&W qualified lawyers and those qualified in other major common law jurisdictions (e.g. Australia or New Zealand) are welcome to apply, with guidance level of experience at 4+ PQE (candidates with less but relevant experience will be readily considered). You will have sustained experience negotiating relevant contracts, including MSAs, framework and technology agreements, alongside the ability to advise on legal compliance, data privacy and other ad hoc matters. You must have demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills at all levels and the commitment to work from the London offices three times per week.
