The Role:
As a Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for running and managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring all matters progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. * Meet Targets: Achieve individual and team targets, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently and in line with the firm's quality standards.
* Client Communication: Communicate with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties regularly via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Ensure clients are kept up to date with the progress of their matters.
* System Management: Utilise the firm's bespoke in-house case management system to effectively manage and progress files. Provide regular updates and ensure accurate record-keeping throughout the conveyancing process.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, CQS protocols, and SRA standards. This will include the preparation and review of necessary documentation in line with legal and compliance frameworks.
* Collaborate: Work closely with other team members, including legal assistants and paralegals, to ensure the smooth running of transactions and that all matters are handled efficiently and to a high standard.

About You:

Essential Requirements:

* A minimum of 1 year's experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a busy legal practice.
* Technical knowledge of the conveyancing process from start to finish, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
* Familiarity with compliance standards, including AML, CQS, and SRA regulatory requirements.
* Competent use of MS Office programs and the ability to quickly learn new case management software.
* Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-and a client-focused approach.
* Ability to work to KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all transactions are progressed efficiently and within agreed timeframes.

Benefits:

* Competitive salary, £30,000 - £42,000 DOE.
* Potential for hybrid working after successfully completing the 12-week probation period.
* Industry-leading training programs with opportunities for career advancement within the firm.
* Pension scheme to support your financial future.
* Free Costco card and other staff benefits.
* Regular award events, social functions, and office parties, ensuring a positive team culture.
