Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Real Estate Contract Lawyer to join their team in Scotland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to specialise in future energy matters, with a focus on clean energy projects including wind, solar, battery storage, electric vehicles, and hydro. The successful candidate will be involved in drafting option agreements and leases, undertaking due diligence on projects, and maintaining relations with existing clients. What you'll do:

As a Real Estate Contract Lawyer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the growth of clean energy projects. You will be responsible for drafting option agreements and leases, conducting thorough due diligence on these projects, and preparing necessary documentation such as title reports. Your expertise will also be crucial in acting on the financing of these projects and managing large-scale acquisitions or disposals. Furthermore, you will play a key role in maintaining relationships with existing clients while also supporting senior fee earners within the team.

* Drafting option agreements and leases for renewable energy projects
* Undertaking due diligence on clean energy projects
* Preparing title reports and Certificates of Title
* Acting in relation to the financing of clean energy projects and large-scale acquisitions/disposals
* Maintaining and improving relations with existing clients
* Supporting senior fee earners and contributing to our collaborative culture

* Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) circa 1-3PQE
