A highly regarded law firm in Reading is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join as a Salaried Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior lawyer to take step into a leadership role, managing high value and complex private client matters while playing a key role in the department’s strategic growth.

The Role:
- Handling a broad range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, and powers of attorney.
- Acting for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and families, providing tailored estate planning and asset protection solutions.
- Leading and mentoring a team of solicitors and legal professionals within the private client department.
- Driving business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
About You:
- A qualified Solicitor with 10+ years’ PQE in private client law.
- Extensive experience in complex estates, tax planning, and trust management.
- Ideally STEP qualified.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team and contributing to business growth.
- Excellent technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and client relationship management skills.
