It serves an impressive client base, including FTSE 350 companies, major corporations, and government organisations, across diverse sectors such as energy, logistics, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, technology, and transport.

With a strong focus on innovation, the firm invests in infrastructure to improve client outcomes and drive business growth. Despite its corporate stature, the firm is known for its approachable partners and vibrant social culture, fostering a strong sense of teamwork. It also has a proven track record of facilitating social mobility and championing accessibility within the legal profession.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Property Litigation Associate (5+ years PQE) to join a growing and dynamic team. The successful candidate will take on a diverse range of contentious commercial property matters, including telecoms, landlord and tenant disputes (e.g. 1954 Act renewals, dilapidations, and break notices), and general property issues such as adverse possession, easements, and title disputes.

A strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 renewals, particularly in the context of managing large property portfolios, is highly desirable. The role offers significant responsibility, with the opportunity to act as a principal fee earner while also supervising junior colleagues. The firm works closely with its transactional Real Estate team, providing ample opportunities for cross-practice collaboration.

You will also play a pivotal role in business development, working to deepen existing client relationships and expand new ones. With the firm's support, this position offers a clear path to partnership for those interested in progression.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: 5+ years PQE in Property Litigation, with a strong background in contentious commercial property law, including Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 renewals (both opposed and unopposed) and property portfolio management.
  • Skills: Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers. Excellent technical knowledge, along with a commercial mindset and strong interpersonal skills for managing client relationships.
  • Motivation: Entrepreneurial drive and enthusiasm for business development. A genuine interest in delivering high-quality client service and taking a leadership role within the team.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary: Negotiable based on PQE and experience, with an exceptional benefits package.
  • Career progression: Tangible opportunities for growth, including a clear path to partnership.
  • Varied and stimulating work: A diverse caseload, with autonomy from the outset.
  • Supportive team environment: Join a collegiate and friendly team committed to professional development and success.
