Real Estate Paralegal - Leading UK law firm - London

Our client, a highly regarded UK law firm with a top-tier real estate practice, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Real Estate Paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for candidates with between 6 and 12 months of paralegal experience in real estate gained from a reputable commercial real estate / planning practice.

The Team:

The Real Estate Group at this elite UK law firm is a cornerstone of their practice, offering breadth and depth across areas such as:

  • Development and Investment: Advising on complex, high-profile transactions across various sectors.
  • Private Equity Real Estate: Providing innovative solutions for structuring and inward investments.
  • Corporate Real Estate: Supporting joint ventures, corporate transactions, and restructuring.
  • Planning, Environment, Construction, and Residential: Delivering specialist advice on planning and statutory matters.

The team includes a highly experienced group of lawyers and professionals who work across industries, including residential, office, retail, industrial, and leisure sectors.

The Role:

  • Managing landlord and tenant matters, sales, purchases, and financing transactions.
  • Conducting due diligence and preparing detailed reports.
  • Assisting with planning, highways, and statutory agreements.
  • Liaising with local authorities and reviewing records to support transactional work.
  • Handling Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.

The Ideal Candidate

As per above, our client is seeking a candidate who has at least 6 months prior experience working withing a reputable real estate practice group. Ideally this experience will have been gained working a similar/competitor firm. Whilst it is desirable, planning experience is not essential.
