Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitor

Location: North West
Salary: Competitive Salary plus Excellent Benefits

We are representing a strong regional commercial firm with a rich history of providing exceptional legal services to clients across the UK. Based in Manchester, this firm is known for its client-centric approach, professional integrity, and commitment to excellence.

As the firm continues to expand and grow with the support of significant new financial investment, they are seeking a motivated and talented solicitor to join the team.

The Role

The firm is actively seeking a Solicitor to join the Insolvency team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is either an experienced Insolvency lawyer or someone from a Litigation (likely Commercial) or Corporate law background who is keen to develop their experience. You will be working directly with one of the North West's leading insolvency lawyers so a real chance to work with one of the best in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of insolvency matters.
  • Providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
  • Collaborating closely with clients, legal experts, and stakeholders to build robust cases and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Contributing to business development within the team.
  • Developing a network of personal contacts and a personal profile in the area of work.

The work is made up of both contentious and non-contentious work acting on both sides whether in advising directors or IPs.

The Extras

As part of this role, you’ll be given all the tools to succeed and can expect dedicated training, professional support, and a host of benefits, including:

  • 25 days annual leave plus 1 day for your birthday and 8 Bank holidays
  • A contributory pension scheme
  • Critical Illness cover
  • Life Assurance
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Healthcare cash plan

The role itself will be based in the firm's busy South Manchester office in an area of significant development - it is an opportunity to do city work without the commute.

If you are a motivated solicitor looking to join a forward-thinking firm and make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you. Please send your cv to paulwarburton@thinklegalrecruitment.com
