Noble Legal are partnered with a cutting edge renewable energy company who are seeking an experienced Banking Lawyer to join the legal team of a leading renewable energy company. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, contributing to transformative energy projects while utilising your expertise in banking and finance. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's mission to lead the renewable energy transition. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-value projects in an exciting and rapidly growing sector.

As part of your responsibilities, you will draft, review, and negotiate a range of banking and finance agreements, including security documents, loan agreements, inter creditor agreements, and facility documentation. You will also advise on and manage project finance transactions, provide legal support for corporate finance matters, and ensure compliance with financial regulations across jurisdictions. Staying informed of legal developments in banking, finance, and renewable energy will be critical to providing strategic and pro active legal advice. This role also offers a small overlap with commercial and corporate work, making it an excellent opportunity to broaden your expertise in these areas.

To be considered for this role, they seek a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 7+ years PQE in banking and finance, ideally with experience in project finance or renewable energy. You should have a strong track record in drafting and negotiating security and loan agreements, excellent knowledge of financial regulations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. While in-house experience is advantageous, it is not essential.

This opportunity will be based in London, with supported hybrid working arrangements. As the first dedicated Banking Lawyer in the team, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the role and make a significant impact while collaborating with a talented legal team of over 10 other legal professionals.
