The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Commercial Litigation Partner into their impressive and modern office based in the heart of the West End of London.

This Commercial Litigation Partner role is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded corporate commercial team at a Legal 500-ranked firm. You will work within a close-knit team of eight, collaborating with partners to drive the department's growth and success.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping strategy and planning for the department while actively mentoring and developing junior colleagues to help them reach their potential. The work is diverse and cutting-edge, offering you exposure to high-value and complex matters.

The firm has a proven track record in successfully pursuing, defending and resolving complex industry-wide cases, thanks to their established connections with specialist barristers, cross-border legal experts and insolvency professionals. In recent years the firm has done a vast amount of work in phone hacking generating in excess of £10million in fee's.

Their sector-wide expertise spans high-stakes matters, including energy, oil and gas, technology, insurance and reinsurance, hacking and cyber-related disputes, international shipping and arbitration. They frequently collaborate with international counsel to enforce judgments and arbitration awards on a global scale.

Requirements

  • You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with at least 7 years + PQE (there is no limit to the amount of experience)
  • You will have a proven track record of building business and should be confident in your ability to introduce and expand on business opportunities
  • Experience of mentoring junior colleagues is of advantage but not essential
  • Salary will be market leading, depending on your background, plus an exceptional benefits package
