Pensions Lawyer | 3+ Years PQE | National Firm | Bristol
The Firm:
This national firm is home to one of the UK's largest and most respected pensions practices, offering a full range of pensions law services. The firm has a strong reputation for providing high-quality advice to trustees, providers, and sponsoring employers of UK pension schemes. Clients include some of the UK's largest companies and pension schemes across various sectors, as well as public service and voluntary organisations.
With offices in London, Leeds, Newcastle, and Bristol, the firm seeks to expand its national offering and is looking for an experienced pensions lawyer to join a highly motivated and supportive team.
The Role:
The role involves providing comprehensive pensions law advice across the full spectrum of UK pension schemes. You will assist clients with day-to-day benefit queries, member complaints, large-scale restructuring, and liability management projects.
In addition to delivering top-tier legal services, you will play an important role in the firm's growth by developing and maintaining client relationships, contributing to the firm's reputation, and proactively identifying opportunities to further expand the firm's market share. There is also the potential for those with an interest in management to take on leadership responsibilities within the team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 3+ years PQE, with a background in pensions law gained from working in an established pensions team.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience in drafting essential documentation for UK pension schemes and providing strategic guidance on all types of UK pension schemes.
- Client Focus: A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships, with the ability to contribute to business development.
- Leadership: Interest in managing teams or projects is a plus.
What's on Offer:
- Flexible Working: The firm is committed to promoting work-life balance, with flexible working patterns, including full-time or part-time options.
- Inclusive Culture: The firm actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion through various employee networks and initiatives, ensuring an open and supportive environment where difference is valued.
- Wellbeing Support: As signatories to the Mindful Business Charter, the firm provides resources and initiatives designed to support health and wellbeing.
- Career Development: Clear opportunities for career progression, with the chance to take on senior responsibilities as you grow within the firm.
The firm's inclusive recruitment process ensures accessibility for all candidates. If you have a disability or long-term condition and require adjustments for the recruitment process, they are happy to accommodate your needs.
This is a great opportunity for a technically proficient pensions lawyer looking to further develop their career within one of the largest and most dynamic pensions teams in the UK.
