The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE or CILEX) to join the firm's well-regarded Property Litigation team in Plymouth. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of residential and commercial disputes, including co-ownership issues, neighbour disputes (rights of way, adverse possession, harassment, boundary disputes), lease disputes, commercial rent recovery, enforcement of charges, possession actions, and rectifying historic title matters.
This role offers the chance to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a respected Partner and experienced colleagues on high-profile and complex litigation cases. The firm provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise in property litigation, with the support of a close-knit and inclusive team.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will be a Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE or CILEX, including 2023 qualifiers) with experience in both residential and commercial contentious property matters, either as part of a training contract or in a newly qualified role.
They will be:
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Able to manage client matters with empathy and sensitivity, fostering strong relationships
- Resilient, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Tenacious and thorough with good commercial judgment, aiming for the best outcomes in complex situations
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in their work, ready to take on significant responsibility from the outset
