The Role:
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (1-2 years PQE) to join a highly regarded dispute resolution team in Bristol. The team is consistently ranked highly by the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners and has significant experience handling complex disputes across a broad range of industries.
You will work on a diverse caseload, which includes contract disputes, shareholder and corporate disputes, professional negligence, banking disputes, intellectual property, fraud, procurement, and more. The team handles high-value, high-profile matters, and you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex cases.
This role also provides ample opportunities for business development and client interaction, with the expectation that you will actively contribute to the firm's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including those related to contracts, professional negligence, IP, fraud, and more.
- Collaborating with senior colleagues on complex, high-value disputes.
- Participating in business development activities and client networking.
- Ensuring compliance with information security and firm policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Commercial Litigation Solicitor (1-2 years PQE), with experience in commercial litigation and a strong academic background.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality client service.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for business development and contributing to a supportive and collegial team culture.
