Our client is one of the largest offshore law firms in Jersey with a headcount of 25 partners and over 100 lawyers based in its prestigious St Helier offices. The team provides clients the full range of corporate and finance services, investment funds, dispute resolution and litigation, trust and private wealth as well as property legal advice. Clients include global financial institutions, private equity houses, investment funds, multi-national corporations, sovereign wealth funds, high net worth individuals, family offices, directors, and trustees as well as private clients.
Its Tier 1 Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice in Jersey represents clients across the full spectrum of contentious and semi-contentious work. It has an outstanding reputation for high level expertise in both international and domestic cases including investment funds, corporate, commercial and civil disputes, banking, financial services and trusts litigation, fraud and asset tracing claims, regulatory investigations, employment disputes and advisory work.
As part of its strategic growth plans, the partners are now looking to hire a junior associate into the current team of 24 litigators in St Helier. The profile of lawyer sought is as follows:
- Excellent academic record;
- Top quality training at a well regarded national or international law firm in the UK;
- From Newly Qualified to up to 2 years’ PQE in the field of dispute resolution;
- Must have completed at least one 6 month’ litigation or dispute resolution seat during training.
