Senior Associate – Litigation (Cayman Islands)

We are currently assisting a prestigious law firm in their search for a highly skilled Senior Associate to join their Litigation team in the Cayman Islands. This firm is internationally renowned for its expertise in high-value cross-border disputes, including insolvency, restructuring, and complex commercial litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious disputes lawyer to advance their career in one of the world’s premier offshore legal jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of high-profile disputes, advising clients on a range of litigation matters, and driving the development of the firm’s litigation and insolvency practice. You will also play a key role in supervising and mentoring junior team members while contributing to the department's business development initiatives.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Qualified as a Cayman Attorney-at-Law (or eligible to be admitted).
• Minimum of seven years' post-qualification experience at a leading law firm or chambers, with expertise in complex commercial disputes, cross-border insolvency, restructuring, and shareholder disputes.
• Proven international experience with significant advocacy exposure.
• Strong academic record combined with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in case management, drafting, research, and negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, high-quality advice under tight deadlines.
