Our client is a major offshore law firm with a stellar client base.  It has offices in many key global financial centres including London, and Dublin, Hong Kong, and Dubai, as well as the global offshore markets such as Cayman, BVI and the Channel Islands.

This is an excellent career opportunity for ambitious UK/Common Law Qualified Associates to join its top tier Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice in Jersey as it enters ‘growth mode’. 

The firm’s general commercial disputes practice specialises in complex and cross-border commercial litigation, advising major financial institutions, trust companies, regulators, public authorities, prosecutors and high-net-worth individuals on the full range of contentious work, with particular emphasis on cross-border matters relating to general contractual disputes, insolvency, fraud and asset tracing and trust litigation. 

Working for a range of the firm’s Partners you gain excellent global litigation experience with the opportunity to progress quickly through the firm's ranks.  As part of a dynamic team, you will also play an important part in building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and other advisors. 

You should have the following profile:

• Qualified as a Solicitor in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Australia, New Zealand (or an offshore jurisdiction such as the BVI, Bermuda or Cayman);
• From 1 - 4 years' or 5-8 years’ post qualification experience in commercial litigation;
• A solid career track record with another major national or international law firm;
• Prior offshore experience isn’t needed (as the requisite training and support will be provided).
