**BERMUDA – CORPORATE M&A ASSOCIATE ROLES – 3-4 YEARS’ PQE and 6-8 YEARS’ PQE**

Our client is a leading global offshore law firm with highly successful offices in 10 highly regarded and well regulated locations around the world.

Its prestigious Bermuda office is one of the largest on island with many lawyers, each expert in one of its key global practice areas of corporate, dispute resolution, regulatory and private client & trusts.  Currently in growth mode, it has recently further expanded its Bermuda team of 12 partners by the hire of several additional leading partners considered expert in their fields of practice. 

It is now looking to hire a further two lawyers into its Tier 1 ranked Corporate Practice Area.  By coming on board, you will join a dynamic team of common law lawyers advising major global clients such as major European, US and Asian banks and multi-national corporations as well domestic corporates on all their transactional needs including corporate structuring and governance, equity and debt issuances, joint ventures, listings, mergers and acquisitions, investments and exits, shareholder arrangements, and restructuring. As part of a busy and diverse practice group, there will also be the chance to assist with lending, structured finance, fund finance, asset finance and debt capital markets mandates in accordance with preference/capacity.

Requirements for these opportunities are as follows:

  • Qualified as a lawyer in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada;
  • Strong career trajectory with a well regarded national or international law firm in a financial centre such as London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Sydney, Auckland or Toronto;
  • Either 3-4 years PQE (Associate) or 6-8 years’ PQE (Senior Associate) in corporate/capital markets/finance law ;
  • Enthusiasm for moving offshore and a willingness to commit to minimum 2 years’ in Bermuda;
  • Personable manner with a good team spirit!
