We are assisting an ambitious set of specialist chambers seeking experienced barristers with expertise in financial services and regulatory matters.

With an abundance of high-quality work flowing through the door, our client is eager to connect with skilled barristers ready to make an immediate impact. The chambers advise on UK, EU, and international institutional and retail financial regulation, and dispute resolution. They represent a diverse client base, including global financial services institutions, private equity firms, family offices, virtual asset platforms, payment and e-money providers, local government bodies, and third sector organisations. Additionally, the chambers are increasingly receiving direct instructions from major international law firms, with significant potential to grow this area further (in light of many firms reducing their own regulatory capability and preferring to outsource such work). The majority of the work coming into chambers is advisory in nature.

Candidates are expected to have an established market reputation and strong client relationships, which they will continue to develop. Our client is well-positioned to provide a steady stream of work from day one, albeit expectations are that successful applicants will be able to stand on their own feet quickly and contribute financially in due course.
