Role: Hybrid
A highly ranked Chambers and Legal 500 Bristol based firm are recruiting for a 5+ PQE Solicitor to join their national Property Disputes team.
What?
The firm’s retail practice is one of the largest nationally and continues to expand, serving an impressive client base including landlords, tenants, developers, and investors, with portfolios spanning telecoms, retail, energy, government, transport, and infrastructure. The team wants an individual to support its growth by handling a variety of contentious commercial property matters, including telecoms, landlord and tenant disputes (e.g., 1954 Act renewals, dilapidation, break notices), and general property issues like adverse possession and easement disputes.
With a busy caseload, the role offers immediate involvement in high-quality client work, both as a fee earner and supervisor. Close collaboration with the transactional Real Estate team offers additional development opportunities within a supportive, collegiate environment.
You
You should have a genuine enthusiasm for property law and a commitment to delivering first-class service to clients. Strong academic ability and a thorough approach to complex legal analysis, with the ability to quickly assimilate complex facts, are essential. Your written advice will be clear and concise, with a high level of commercial awareness to address clients' objectives. You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills to navigate the varied interests of clients effectively. Collaboration across teams, including multi-disciplinary groups, is key, and the role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in this expanding area of law.
Why?
This transatlantic law firm offers a dynamic career in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Employees benefit from cross-border collaboration, gaining exposure to international clients and complex legal issues. The firm prioritises professional development, providing ongoing training, mentoring, and access to valuable resources.
With diverse practice areas in sectors like energy, real estate, financial services, and technology, professionals can find their niche and work on high-profile projects. Known for fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture, the firm values diversity and a welcoming workplace.
A focus on innovation allows employees to engage with new legal technologies and client-centred solutions. Flexible work arrangements support a healthy work-life balance, and a commitment to corporate responsibility offers pro-bono and community service opportunities. For legal professionals, this firm combines stimulating work with a culture-conscious environment that promotes career growth.
