Excellent opportunity In the Cayman Asset Management and Investment Funds Practice at this top tier global law firm for ambitious lawyers looking for adventure! 

Our client is a major global offshore law firm and has one of the world’s largest specialist Investment Hub funds teams.  It delivers legal advice for some of the most well known asset managers and investment funds on Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Irish and Jersey law on a global basis. Clients range from well-established private equity and mutual fund managers to start-up managers and it provides them with a ‘one-stop-shop’, providing legal services on the full investment life cycle of formation, restructure, regulation, re-domiciliation, termination, and liquidation, supported by corporate, regulatory, fiduciary, and compliance services.

Its Asset Management and Investment Funds Practice in Cayman is large and well established, with well over 30 specialist lawyers on the ground. The AMIF team provides high level advice to clients all around the world and is highly ranked in all the regional legal directories.  Due to organic growth, it is now looking to recruit several new associates with the following profile and credentials:

  • Qualified as a lawyer in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada;
  • A solid career trajectory to date with a well regarded national or global law firm;
  • Prior experience in asset management and investment funds OR corporate law (for those ready to do a mixed funds/corporate workload) ;
  • Good commercial judgement and interpersonal skills.
