Job Details

Commercial law firm in Bristol is looking to recruit a Regulatory Health & Safety Solicitor/ Barrister of 5 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team advises corporates, and their boards and directors, on business-critical issues concerning regulatory enforcement. They specialise in crisis management, corporate and director liability, undertaking corporate internal investigations, engaging with regulators and defending complex investigations and prosecutions. They are looking for a lawyer with strong experience in Regulatory enforcement. In particular, they are interested in speaking to those with experience of advising corporates in relation to large scale investigations and prosecutions. The successful candidate will undertake a varied caseload including: corporate manslaughter, inquests, health and safety, internal investigations, and reputational and public relations issues. You will be regularly working with corporate clients to review and avoid legal risks in the areas most relevant to them. Applicants will ideally have experience of at least one of the following areas: • Large-scale Inquests • Advising businesses on complex regulatory issues • Advising in relation to health & safety compliance and regulatory risk.
You will also be able to work well within a team and possess excellent interpersonal, client and commercial skills.
