Competition/ Antitrust- Friendly US Firm in London
Our client is a highly regarded US firm in London with a popular antitrust practice.
The firm has a very strong reputation in the US and internationally for handling an exceptional quality of work but also maintaining a very friendly and supportive environment, including by having somewhat more moderate hours expectations than many of its US counterparts. The firm still compensates its lawyers very well and offers significantly more generous packages than Magic Circle firms, but still places an emphasis on culture and looking after its associates.
The competition team is no exception and is known to be one of the friendliest groups in the city. The team handles a real variety of merger (PE and strategic) and behavioural investigations work across a range of sectors including technology, life sciences and financial services. London is the hub for the firm’s international competition practice and so there is also plenty of exposure to EU and US work.
The team is a favourite home for those drawn to the quality of work, small teams and compensation of a US firm but still wanting to have a sustainable workload and healthy environment.
The team is ideally looking to recruit someone in the 2-5 bracket from a highly regarded competition practice in London, although those with more or less experience, and those looking to relocate to London will also be considered.
