Insurance Partner ( Corporate) – National firm

This City based insurance practice of our national firm client has an established reputation within the insurance sector and an enviable client list, being on a number of major insurance panels.

The firm is continuing to grow its non-contentious and advisory insurance offering in London and has made significant partner hires recently which have resulted in increasing levels of client instructions. The partners within this group are now seeking to add another corporate insurance partner to the team and would consider laterals who are either existing partners or senior non-partner candidates (from practice or in-house).

Given the platform and the significant level of existing instructions there is no requirement here for a “book” of business, rather a deep understanding of the insurance market and a willingness to drive the regulatory practice forward with energy and enthusiasm. You will find a long-established breadth of client relationships and, also a strong supporting network of lawyers internally who provide the infrastructure necessary to support corporate insurance deals and regulatory advisory work.

This role constitutes a rare opportunity in the current market, where the emphasis is on technical skill and ability and not “following”. For those senior, non-partner, candidates the firm have indicated they are willing to offer day 1 partnership for the right individual and a clear roadmap for career progression in a profitable and growing firm.
