No2 to Head of Department (Litigation)

My client seeks a litigator to join the team as number two to the Head of Department.

This is a key strategic hire and a newly created opportunity to play a pivotal role in the team. You will play a key role in the department and will:

• Enjoy a significant client facing role, dealing with complex debt disputes and defended matters
• Attend meetings and negotiations with clients and third parties
• Play an active role, working with the HOD to achieve strategic goals, maintain department standards with regular review & analysis of financial data
• Assist in developing existing and new client business (including active network building and training)

To be of interest, you will have a good track record in litigation. You should be a strong communicator, very commercially aware and solutions focused. You should also possess strong analytical and negotiating skills and be adept at dealing with different types of clients.

This is a rare opportunity for a key strategic role, no following required. Only lawyers with UK experience will be considered.
