Marine Insurance 2-4 PQE London

Our client is a leading international law firm renowned for its expertise in insurance litigation.

Their specialist Marine casualty team assists multi-national shipping clients including:

Shipowners.
Charterers.
Protection & Indemnity (P&I) clubs and their insurers and reinsurers in relation to their global exposure to claims for:

• Hull and Machinery (H&M).
• Increased value.
• Loss of hire.
• Cargo.
• Mortgagee's interest (MI).
• War.
• Charterers' liability.
• Ports and terminals.
• General liability.

This high quality, specialist team are now looking for an additional Associate.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

• Strong academics, intellectual rigour and strong technical and research skills.
• Trained at a rated City or regional firm, most likely one with a good reputation for Marine insurance disputes work.
• Most likely 2-4-years' post-qualification experience in Marine insurance litigation.
• The ability to adopt a proactive approach and take initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage a busy, complex case load.

Common law-qualified lawyers with relevant experience would be very welcome. the firm is able and willing to sponsor if required.
