Job Details
Sacco Mann is working with a prominent and market leading, York-based plc which has an established In-house legal. There is now an extremely rare vacancy for a commercial solicitor to compliment the team, reporting to the Group Director of Legal Services and the Chief Commercial Officer. This Commercial Counsel role is offered on a hybrid basis but will require x3 days a week on site in their offices in York.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years PQE who will look to manage a varied workload of non-contentious matters for the Group's Procurement, Technical, Construction and Commercial Teams in relation a range of agreements including; supply contracts for goods and services, contracts for the supply and fix of goods, appointments for professionals and contractors, warranties, novation agreements, variations, NDAs and associated documentation.
You'll assess commercial risk in contracts, liaising with the Group insurers and Group Litigation Solicitor where required and help deliver training to procurement and other teams where required
