Salary: £48,000 - £55,000
A reputable and long-standing law firm is on the lookout for a skilled Litigation/Dispute Resolution Lawyer, whether you are a Solicitor or a Legal Executive, to become a key member of their team. This role involves delivering exceptional legal services to a diverse range of clients.
Role Overview:
In this role, you’ll be tasked with managing various contentious legal matters, including commercial and property disputes, among others. The position requires a commitment to excellent client service, providing legal solutions that align with clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of disputes from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Provide clients with well-informed advice on the strengths and weaknesses of their cases, including the likelihood of success and potential risks.
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, and related correspondence.
- Engage in negotiations with opposing parties and represent clients in court proceedings.
- Accurately record billable time spent on client matters.
- Stay current with legal developments and case law.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of the litigation department.
- Must be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Possess strong technical expertise in litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client care and build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgement.
- Commitment to providing high-calibre legal advice and client service.
- Team-oriented, with strong collaboration skills.
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of business operations.
