Our client is a hugely successful company in an exciting industry sector looking for a commercial lawyer to join their dynamic in-house team. This position offers a variety of interesting and challenging legal work. There is the potential to progress and develop.

Based in Middlesbrough, this would suit someone locally based. Due to the fast-moving nature of the work, employees will need to be in the office 4 - 5 days per week.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a strength in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreement.
  • Be able to assist and help the department on a wide range of other legal matters
  • Have worked in either a reputable law firm or successful in-house legal department.
  • Have a commercial / business outlook to their work
  • Be between 2 – 4 years PQE, although would consider a strong newly qualified solicitor
Our client envisages that candidates between 2 – 4 years PQE plus have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
