THE ROLE

A Head of Recoveries is sought, with experience of also managing a team in a role which reports directly into the MD.

You will be working closely with SMEs and banking & finance clients, resulting in significant volumes of debt recovery work.

The debt recovery team is backed with a state of the art debt recovery system to enable the smooth and effective management of a caseload.

This role will represent an exceptional opportunity to continue building the firm's debt recovery offering.

In addition, you will be encouraged to win new work from prospective clients should the opportunity arise and also get involved in developing new ways in which to improve this important service offering.

ABOUT YOU

As a debt recovery specialist, you will have experience of operating Case Management Systems and dealing with volume based debt recovery work.

The role will include managing and handling a variety of issues from initial enquiry to conclusion, and your work will encompass inter alia:

• Drafting of Statutory Demands, Bankruptcy Petitions, Winding-Up Petitions and issuing all debt recovery Court Proceedings (through MCOL or otherwise) for the Litigation team and a working knowledge of issuing insolvency based proceedings.

• Processing claims through the MCOL up to and including Judgment stage. Candidates should have experience in issuing County Court claims via MCOL including drafting particulars of claim and witness statements where required.
