Legal Counsel - High Tech Services Business - West Midlands

Our client is a multi-division, multi-faceted services business, which is instantly recognisable, with a very well-established in house legal team and they are looking to add a commercial contracts lawyer to their ranks.

Working as part of the highly regarded legal team, you will have a large degree of autonomy and run your own matters including:

· Leading on the drafting and negotiation of general commercial contracts;
· advising on construction specific contracts;
· advising on GDPR matters;
· providing training to the business on legal matters, maintaining precedents and guidance material;
· managing relationships with key stakeholders and external counsel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an in-house lawyer with 3 PQE or above, who wants more development in their career with huge exposure and autonomy but within a very supportive team. Significant procurement contracts experience is required and you will need to be a self-starter who can operate at pace, as the business is fast paced and requires you to balance legal risk versus commercial reward!
