Role - Legal Counsel - Commercial:

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercial solicitor to join our clients established in-house legal department.

As Legal Counsel - Commercial, you will assume responsibility for the commercial and contractual aspects of our clients retail business. This includes the management of existing sites, the procurement of goods and services, the supply of products, the acquisition of new sites, and the appointment of on-site operators and franchisees.

Other duties include supporting on real estate and commercial property matters, working alongside the dedicated property lawyer to acquire and onboard new retail sites, and assisting on wider Group matters and projects as required.


Requirements:

Our client is seeking a commercial solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE. You should possess strong drafting and negotiation skills, and have the ability to provide sound advice on a range of contract matters. Experience of procuring goods and services, and dealing with the supply and resale of goods is highly attractive.

In addition to being a capable commercial lawyer, any experience of real estate matters, particularly as it relates to the acquisition of retail sites, is desirable, although not essential.

Location:

Our client is located in Cheshire and the office is commutable from Chester, Liverpool, Warrington and surrounds in Cheshire and Merseyside.
