Data Privacy Officer/Lawyer – Highly Regarded Law Firm
We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded full-service law firm to find a Data Privacy Officer/Lawyer to support the DPO.

As the firm grows the internal risk and compliance team is expanding to meet the demands of the business a newly created role of Data Privacy Officer has been created to support the DPO.
There are plans to implement a comprehensive automated privacy framework software, and the newly appointed Data Privacy Officer will support the DPO to ensure the firm is compliant with UK GDPR. The Privacy Officer will not only support the management of the automated tool and be responsible to leverage the relevant software automation capabilities & tools (DSARS, conduct audits, manage centralized inventory and mapping) but will also work closely with DPO in the review of privacy policies, employee training, drills, conduct in person GDPR clinics, new vendor GDPR assessment, DP investigations
This role is an important hire for the firm and will provide strength and guidance to the internal team. We are seeking a data privacy specialist or lawyer with 3+ years of experience. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of GDPR and privacy laws. A good grasp of IT systems and data security is also highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of law firm regulation and compliance will be an added advantage but is not a prerequisite to be considered for this opportunity.
The role can be based in either Nottingham or Oxford.
