*GERMAN QUALIFIED LAWYER – BANKING & FINANCE ASSOCIATE – 4-6 YEARS’ PQE – US WHITE-SHOE LAW FIRM, FRANKFURT*

Our client is a white-shoe US law firm with a clear and longstanding commitment to its European network of offices. 

It’s sizeable and prestigious Frankfurt office was opened in 2016 and currently consists of 25 lawyers on the ground.  It provides its clients with top quality legal services across the practice groups and works closely with other global offices to offer a seamless service across the jurisdictions.  

This is a vacancy to join its Banking & Finance Practice in Frankfurt. The current team consists of 3 lawyers and is headed by a partner who is highly ranked in the regional legal directories.  The team advises private equity funds, banks, financial institutions and corporates on corporate finance matters, including leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and corporate-to-corporate transactions; real estate acquisition financing, development financing and subordinated debt, as well as on domestic and cross-border structured finance transactions. 

Your profile should be as follows:

  • German qualified lawyer;
  • “Vollbefriedigend” or above in both state exams;
  • From 4-6 years’ post qualification banking and finance experience from another top global law firm in Frankfurt, Munich or London;
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to your legal career.
