Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor - 5 years' +

Leeds

A leading Leeds commercial law firm are looking for an experienced commercial litigation solicitor to join their market-leading, expanding litigation practice in the city centre.

This is a role ideally suited for a solicitor at senior associate level looking for their next career step. This will be a lawyer around the 5-8 year PQE mark.

The work here is superb quality national and international dispute resolution, with the firm acting for an impressive list of FTSE listed and global organisations across the full spectrum of commercial litigation work.

Day to day you will be advising clients on a wide range of matters from contract disputes, professional negligence, shareholder and partnership claims, to supply chain disputes and international arbitration.

The litigation team here is one of the largest outside of London and as the firm are single site you are not dictated to by London or other offices - it is all consistently high quality and complex.

Although this is initially a senior associate level appointment there is a genuine scope to internally progress to Director for the right person. The setup and structure of the firm minimises red tape and bureaucracy, and the firm do like to  progress those internally where possible rather than always looking for a lateral hire.

The firm operate a hybrid working policy and are housed in a fantastic office space in central Leeds.

In terms of culture the firm is well regarded as being a pleasant place to work with lots of young and approachable partners who strive to make the firm as progressive and as inclusive as possible.

Salary is the top end of the market rate depending on experience with benefits such as a minimum of 25 days annual leave rising to 31 + bank holidays, 4 x life assurance, 5% minimum firm pension contribution, sabbaticals based on length of service and more.
