Compliance Manager

We're working with an exceptional Legal 500 firm with offices across the UK. They are driven to provide the best legal services. Founded by ex Eversheds and Clifford Chance Lawyers they cover all commercial areas.

Now looking for someone to work closely with the COLP/COFA/MLRO to ensure the firm continue to work in the correct way in line with all SRA and regulatory standards. 

You will stay up to date with changes in law and regulations, developing and implementing an effective compliance program throughout the business. Reviewing firms policies and procedures, conducting internal and external audits, conducting the firm wide risk assessments.

This is a very broad role and a brilliant opportunity for someone to take a step up from a smaller more high street firm, continuing compliance work across the board.

What about you?
  • You will be a qualified E&W solicitor
  • Experience leading compliance in a smaller law firm (bonus if you have experience as COLP/COFA/MLRO)
  • Knowledge of file audits, complaints, sra audits, risk assessments and firm wide compliance
  • Experience undertaking PII renewals
  • Ideally 4+ years experience in compliance
