The role:

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Contentious Construction Managing Associate 8+ years PQE looking to join one of the UK's leading Construction practices, to be based in Bristol.

This prominent Construction practice advises clients in relation to disputes under all major forms of construction and engineering contracts, including standard form contracts produced by the JCT, NEC, ACA and FIDIC, as well as bespoke agreements.

As such, this role would suit a Contentious Construction specialist with considerable experience and knowledge of complex matters involving issues such as delay and disruption, defects, payment and building safety defects.

Aside from fee-earning and leading on transactions, they're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can deepen existing relationships and diversify new ones. You'll also show leadership qualities and have a say in the strategic direction of the practice whilst supporting juniors with their development.
