As a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Company Secretary, through leading the corporate governance as it relates to transactions/joint ventures.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading the coordination of corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. You will also manage Joint Venture companies where our client is the responsible party for governance. In addition to these responsibilities, you will oversee the administrative aspects of bond issues and other financing arrangements. Furthermore, you will prepare and review documentation related to corporate transactions including contracts, agreements, and resolutions.

  • Lead the coordination and execution of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Manage Joint Venture companies where our client is the responsible party for governance.
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of bond issues and other financing arrangements.
  • Prepare and review documentation related to corporate transactions, including contracts, agreements, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors, such as legal counsel, tax advisors, and financial analysts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for all transactions and restructuring activities.
  • Manage and maintain records of all corporate transactions and restructurings.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Assistant Company Secretary position brings a wealth of experience in corporate governance, specifically in relation to transactions/joint ventures. You will have at least five years of practical experience gained with a company listed on a major stock exchange.
