The Role
This is a fantastic position for a Corporate Associate with 2-5 PQE to join this leading Top 20 International practice within their City of London office.
Within this role you will provide legal advice and support on a range of transactional corporate matters including acting for:

  • Corporate clients, management teams and individuals (both buy-side and sell-side) on a range of UK and international private M&A transactions (including acquisitions and disposals, bolt-on acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, subscription/equity investments).
  • Bidders, target companies and financial advisers on public M&A transactions (including contractual takeover offers, schemes of arrangement, public to private transactions and cash confirmations).

You will also provide legal advice and support on a range of lifecycle events for both listed and private clients, and their group companies including advising on:

  • General company law, compliance, governance and regulatory matters.
  • Shareholder meetings.
  • Share restructurings and group reorganisations.
  • Returns of capital.
  • Shareholder activism.

Requirements

  • You will be a 2-5 PQE solicitor qualified in England & Wales.
  • You will have trained and worked post qualification within a respectable private practice or in-house team.
