Restructuring & Insolvency Associate (3-6 PQE) – Hong Kong

Job Details

We present an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled restructuring lawyer to join an emerging team within a prestigious international law firm in Hong Kong. Ideal candidates will possess 3-6 years PQE from a top-flight restructuring practice, ideally admitted in Hong Kong with fluent proficiency in both Chinese and English. Overseas applicants with an exceptional pedigree will also be considered.

Collaborating closely with the lead Partner and newly appointed Counsel, the incoming lawyer will represent a diverse clientele including creditor groups, debtors, and office holders in significant cross-border restructurings. Additionally, the role entails representing investment funds and proprietary trading desks in debt and equity investments, with a focus on distressed and special situations. Previous exposure to contentious insolvency matters is advantageous, given the breadth of work anticipated.

Our client offers an attractive financial package and enhanced career progression reflective of the practice's burgeoning nature.
