Job Details

This role offers an initial 6-month contract, providing the opportunity to work directly with one of their esteemed clients. The successful candidate will be involved in managing caseloads, conducting complex investigations, and working on trials. This position requires office attendance five days initially.

What you'll do:
* Develop an understanding of complex issues to review and categorise a wide range of evidence and contracts
* Use e-disclosure platforms and specific systems to implement relevance and redaction policies
* Provide regular updates on progress to fee earners within the team
* Ensure case files are completed to the requisite standard and comply with disclosure obligations
* Work with the press bureau to prepare press lines
* Serve Regulation Notices and appropriate disclosure to relevant parties in accordance with legislated timelines and guidance
* Conduct regular reviews of all cases and engage with line managers regarding high-risk cases
* Attend all hearings and provide instruction to counsel when necessary
* Complete all administrative responsibilities throughout each case

What you bring:

* At least 12 months experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
* Willingness to undergo SC Clearance upon employment offer
* Accuracy, good organisational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Previous experience using case management systems or other legal technology is ideal but not essential
* Exceptional communication skills with confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders and external partner agencies
* Exceptional legal drafting skills

This role will be on a daily rate via umbrella company
