They differentiate themselves from their competitors by their culture which is underpinned by flexibility, inclusivity and collaboration. Last year, they spent several millions of pounds on improving technological tools and platforms to afford their lawyers greater agility and connectivity when working across offices.

A large number of their practices sit within the top tiers of the legal directories and the firm's management board continues to make strategic hires to strengthen their foothold in key sectors including Energy & Infrastructure, Private Equity, Retail & Consumer, Private Wealth and Islamic Finance.

The role:

Forming part of the firm's wider private capital practice, this firm is looking to welcome Tax & Succession Associate 2-5 years PQE or CILEX into their team in Exeter.

This firm has a top-tier private client practice that caters to clients with diverse assets who require complex succession planning and wealth protection arrangements. A large percentage of the work comes from generational clients who use the firm for 'cradle to grave' legal services.

Therefore, they are looking for someone who has experience in the creation and handling of inter-generational wealth structures, trust reorganisations and tax-efficient strategies to preserve wealth.

You will have the chance to enhance your technical abilities and industry knowledge by working alongside experienced private client lawyers who foster an inclusive working environment.

If you are STEP qualified or working toward this accreditation, this is highly advantageous but not a prerequisite.

The ideal candidate:

  • Private Client Solicitor 2-5 years PQE with interest and expertise in tax and trusts work
  • Strong appetite for professional growth and motivation to consistently deliver your best
  • Desire to get involved in technically challenging work
