We are seeking a talented Corporate/Finance Associate to join our clients highly rated Jersey office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to their dynamic team, working on prestigious cross-border mandates for blue-chip and institutional-level clients. The scope and complexity of the work is first class and would suit individuals that are keen to develop and maintain a broad practice going forward.

Applicant Requirements

  • 2-4 years' relevant post-qualification experience in general corporate and/or finance matters
  • Experience with a leading law firm in a major onshore or offshore jurisdiction
  • Outstanding academics
  • Significant attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to internal policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate and finance matters, including M&A, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, DCM, High Yield, leveraged and structured finance, and securitisation
  • Work with major banks, multinational and institutional investment firms, and leading onshore law firms
  • Engage in business development activities and promote the firm
  • Collaborate with partners and manage junior lawyers
