Pembury Legal are delighted to be working with one of our closest client who is seeking a Head of Client Intake/Deputy MLRO to join their London office. This senior position will be responsible for the Business Acceptance team and the ongoing development of the firm’s conflict of interest, AML and sanctions policies, processes and technology. The individual will ensure that the firm and its people are compliant with the legislative and regulatory framework relating to onboarding new clients and matters and maintaining those relationships. This person will manage the team, act as deputy MLRO, be the subject matter expert on conflicts of interest, and act as an ambassador for the Risk team. As such, applicants should have at least 6 years of law firm compliance experience with a strong background in both AML and Conflicts in addition to extensive experience as a manager. This a very important, strategic hire for the firm which is highly visible with strong levels of autonomy. On offer is an attractive 6 figure salary at one of the true elites of the legal space.
